Reiki Energy Healing with Auro-Soma Essences and Channeling |

All human beings are capable of regenerating and “healing.*”
Healers work to recreate the positive stream of energy in the body so the body’s own healing powers can be activated.
Reiki healing is a special therapeutic touch or laying-of-hands technique which originated in Japan. The system of channeling universal energy, or “chi” and balancing the chakras is based on a holistic system which heals and harmonizes the body, mind, emotional wellbeing and spirit. It is an experience which tends to improve ones own outlook on life and prepare the way for a better functioning future.
As a Reiki Energy Healer and Independent Reiki Master in the Usui Tradition, I personally like to use healing music and therapeutic scents such as Essential Oils or the Auro-Soma Quintessences. These aromas can be particularly effective as the scents activate the olfactory nerve which is linked with the limbic system, the emotional center of the brain. Often during a healing, there will be messages channeled for the wellbeing of the client.
Reiki is a gentle complementary treatment form and can help to create peace of mind, soothe anxiety and help a seriously ill patient become more receptive to traditional medical treatment. It is often offered as a complementary technique to heart patients and cancer patients in hospitals, medical clinics and hospices. *Note: using the term “healing” should not be confused with the curing of an illness. “Healing” can be defined as helping to return to the experience of balance and wellness.

Body Mirror Chakra Healing
A another healing technique is based upon working on the seven major energy centers of the body called “chakras,” the knowledge of which stemming from ancient yoga and Chinese medicine. The essence of a chakra healing involves balancing and stimulating the energy system into activity while removing blockage to facilitate open mindedness.
Martin Brofman, PhD, the founder of the Body Mirror Technique which is widely used in Europe writes “Because each of these chakras can be associated with certain parts of the consciousness as well as certain parts of the body, they allow us to read the body as a map of the consciousness within. Thus, tensions in the body are seen to reflect tensions in the consciousness, and the chakras can be used as a vehicle to understand the Body Mind Interface and its implications for healing.
The Body Mirror System is based on the idea that the parts of your body that do not work well reflect the parts of your life that do not work well, and about which there is tension in your consciousness. Tension is stress, and stress causes symptoms.

Courses in Reiki & Energy Healing
Reiki I: The First Degree Everyone has the ability to utilize healing energy. Even if you doubt that you have that ability, then be assured that I can teach you. This course is meant both for self-healing and learning to generate healing energy. Physical health of Reiki I participants often changes for the better in the months after the ritual of Reiki attunement. Reiki I healers utilize hands-on techniques or working within energy fields in order to heal persons who are physically present.
This is an excellent introduction to healing techniques and compliments other alternative therapies very well. Reiki self-healing hand positions/techniques, hand positions/ techniques for healing others, sensing energy fields, visualization techniques and working with chakras are introduced.
An important aspect of this course is learning to receive a healing as well as giving a healing.

Small classes. Class duration: two full days over one or two weekends, depending on the needs of the group. Price $150, plus tax. Former students of Reiki I at Caring Sense may participate as a refresher for a $20 fee.

Reiki II: The Second Degree This course focuses on emotional and karmic healing. An increase in the healing energy occurs with the ritual of Reiki II attunement. Distance healing methods are included, as are the introduction to three powerful Reiki symbols. We also include more detailed work with the chakras and learning to sense auras as we strengthen intuitive abilities, and practice scanning for dysfunction or imbalance.
The attunement from this degree will enhance all your healing and care giving activities, including massage therapy, nursing, parenting, etc. After this course, the healer begins to personalize his healing techniques and attract clients which are appropriate for his energy and style. And the more you use Reiki, the stronger the energy will become.

Reiki II is only for those who have taken Reiki I (either with me or any other Reiki Master). Small classes. Class duration: This is a four day course over two or three weekends, depending on the needs of the group. Price $300, plus tax. Former students of Reiki II at Caring Sense may participate for a second time for a fee of $40.
